Awesome safe. Just be aware that it's heavy and not something you're going to put in a backpack. I do recommend it for car or home use. You may want to set the combination as something that you can easily feel without looking (e.g.1-1--1-2-1). If you set it as something like 2-4-1-3, you're going to have to look down at where your fingers are. Another idea for safety is to keep your handgun in its (rigid!) holster while inside the safe. Much safer than putting on the empty holster, opening the safe, then picking up and holstering your loaded handgun. Especially if you're keeping this in your car. Not safe to be holstering and un-holstering a handgun while seated in your car. In my opinion, your handgun should never leave its holster unless for self-defense, target practice, unloading for cleaning, etc.
