I loved this optic a lot. The reticle is great besides the illumination, which is why I have it 4 stars instead of 5. Another con I had was the on/off button. Didn’t really work as well as I thought. Other than that, this optic is great all around if you don’t mind the illumination and on/off switch.
Perfect scope for for making those longer shots that require small dope adjustments, but still maintains a low profile for CQB type work. Works great on my 16in DDM4 V11. Would definitely recommend this scope for the experienced shooter that wants the reliability and clarity of a high quality scope to go along with their dependable riffle.
A great scope with a beautiful image. I am just very disappointed that it was missing the handle to turn the magnification ring and the battery. The shipping was very fast. Haven't mounted it yet so I can't say how it will hold up to recoil.
I’ve been running this scope through its paces for 8 months now, and am thrilled with it. Helped me to the podium in a couple of matches including a 5k run and fun. It is capable of going from a CQC-style stage to a 600 yard stage without a problem. Whether you are a hunter or competitor, you’ll love the light weight. The scope has taken a pounding from me, including more than 50 miles of running, rucking, rain, and mud. It’s backed Leupold’s excellent guarantee. They will also send you a customized elevation knob after you get your dope! Super handy.
First, the model I picked had the CM-R reticle, not the FireDot. I had trouble deciding between the Leupold and the Vortex Razor HD 1-6x24. I have used the Vortex before and find it to be a very fine optic. I ultimately decided t0 go with the Leupold because of the weight and color (not a big fan of the Vortex color). I’ve only been to the range once with it and so far, I have no regrets on my purchase. The illumination is daylight bright, the turrets appear to track accurately and the leveling feature was a nice bonus (I backed it up with levels and it was spot on). While the glass quality is subjective, I feel it is on par with the Razor’s glass. I would purchase this again if he need ever arises.
