Ordered the safe from Hunters Locker, I was a little apprehensive because I hadn't heard of the company before. They were great to work with! Very prompt at responding and answering my emails. The safe arrived surprisingly quickly. I won't hesitate doing business with Hunters Locker in the future!
Amazing safe! Fit perfectly and took about two minutes to install. I would definitely recommend this product
Very pleased with purchase. I reviewed all comparable safes on the market. The V-line was the best value in my book. It’s not the sleekest design with all of the electronic features. But….The top draw checks all of the “necessary” features: secure, quality build; simple design, reliable locking mechanism and made in the U.S.A.
Mrs. and I going full-time RVing, needed a safe to fit under the bed storage area for long guns. I mounted it under the bed and it fits and works great! I’ts on it’s back and the door opens up. I feel very confident now that I have a place to lock up my firearms when we leave the RV unattended. A very useful product.
I have this scope mounted on .260 rem. caliber, Savage model 10 with a Shilen barrel. This combination works very very well. I have used other scopes on this rifle including Vortex and Nightforce. They have all been good scopes that track well and provide a clear image of the target, but the Sightron has the most useful reticle for shooting in windy conditions. I live in an area where the wind changes speed and direction rapidly making it nearly impossible, at times, to adjust the horizontal turret and shoot before the wind changes. The reticle on the Sightron is very useful for making quick one or two minute of angle corrections quickly. I have tested this scope, shooting at distances from 100 to 1400 yards, and have been so impressed that I decided to do something I almost never do; write a review.
Before i bought my first one i asked a friend if he had one. He said yest and would buy another if needed. So i ordered it. I have a total of 3 now and really like them. I find the retical to be good even when hunting. When adjusting out to 1,025 yards then back to 100 yards it was right on the money. I will buy more if needed!
Possibly the most versatile riflescope Riton has to offer. Currently building out a DMR gun for use in a quick-set capacity while working uniformed patrol. Simplicity and speed combined with the range of magnification make this ideal for what I needed. My partner uses a 1-8x on his DMR, but I wanted something with a little more capability to PID in lowlight conditions, which is where the 15x shines. Great optic, does what it’s supposed to do at a killer price.
The safe looks amazing! Better than the pictures. Had a little mix up with the lock mechanism. Customer support got back to me almost immediately and had the new lock out to me in a day and a lock smith contracted to install in less than a week. Delivery was WAY sooner than expected. Wish I had gotten the lights because it is a little dark in the safe.
Installed on my tripod and got some great shots of the moon. Easy to focus and get clear shots even on high zoom. Looking forward to using on my trip to Alaska this summer.
Optics mounting options can be limited for those who use ARs with fixed carry handles. Sure things can be mounted on top of the carry handle, but that leads to a less than optimal chin-weld, instead of a good cheek-weld. The M-21 is a great way to go for those who find themselves in this conundrum. It features a simple goose-neck mounting system that places the sight low, where it should be. Your iron sights are still barely visible in the extreme bottom of the window. The mount is attached via the mounting hole that is in your carry handle. The attachment method is simplicity itself. You place the mount on and then thread the nut on the bottom. It is contoured to fit the bottom of your carry handle perfectly. I was dubious about the resiliency of the mount, but with only hand tight torque applied, I had no issues with loosening or zero shift.
Zeroing of the sight was surprisingly fast. The adjustments were easily made with a coin in the field. The clicks were both audible and tactile. The illumination of the reticle is accomplished by a combination of fiber-optics and tritium. There are no batteries, buttons, or switches to fuss with. I have had the good fortune to shoot this sight in an open field that butts up to some woods. While it was brighter in the open with the sun shining down upon it, at no point in the shadows of the woods did it ever become washed out or hard to pick up. Target acquisition was fast and reliable with all the lighting conditions available to me, even while in the woods aiming out in to the brightly lit field. The blue tint to the lens is a little annoying while shooting with a single eye, but is not noticeable when both eyes are open.
I had zero failures of the sight and was thoroughly impressed with its simplicity and reliability. From the mount to the optic itself I am now a believer in this system for a quick acquisition sight on carry handle equipped ARs.
I have this optic on 3 weapons now, a Saiga 12ga, and 2 AR platforms one with a binary trigger... this thing holds zero no problem. There can be a bit of washout transitioning from light to dark and vice versa, but the polarizer helps this immensely... if you add the aftermarket light this thing cannot be beat.
Solid scope for the money. Bought this and a similar Athlon brand scope (Helos 6X25) and ended up returning the athlon. The athlon has a much better reticle, especially for wind and using it at anything under max magnification (this Lucids reticle is OK, but a little small, especially under 12-14X). The Lucid won out though because the clarity was amazing compared to the Athlon. Using this in NRL22 competitions to stay in base. Will update after a match, loving this so far with about 200 rounds through it though.
If I had to guess I'd say this and the Athlon Helos are actually made in the same factory just to different specs, the likeness between them is pretty striking.
Update August 2018: I've used this scope in 3-4 NRL22 matches and it has served me well (I've won every match), Parralax adjustment works well and at top magnification I can clearly see targets at between 25-50 yards apart at distances less then 100 yards. I really like it though I may upgrade to a Leupold MK6 since I'm in open now. Very pleased with this optic, it is overkill for 22lr matches at distances less then 100 yards but it gets the job done.
I had been looking for a gun safe for my Ford 150 Raptor, for some time and this was the only product that appeared to be strong and durable. When it arrived it definitely lived up to my expectations! The product is made of durable and strong steel, and fit's almost perfectly under the rear seat. The Ford Raptor has a "power box" under the drivers side rear seat, which protrudes beyond the rear retaining rail but about 5mm. This is not an issue with the installation but means the box does not open 100 - perhaps 90. There is no access issues even with the "power box" on the Raptor, the combination lock is robust and easy to open and change the combination. I installed this on top of my WeatherTech floor liners - and - this was not an issue. Looks almost as if the box was factory installed. What I really like about this product is that the bolt covers prevent the box being removed without having the combination to open the safe lid. To fit the safe, the plastic retainer under the bench seat needs to be removed - and - the kit comes with a really nice metal plate to replace the original plastic piece (I really liked this as it makes the installation even more secure. The safe is the full length of the rear seat - so ample room for long-guns. The product is a little expensive - but - you get what you pay for, something to ensure your guns are safe. I use it everyday for my work-bag and laptop - a lot safer than just hiding things under the bench seat.
It’s a hefty safe, seems secure and includes a cable so you can attach it to something sturdy.
I’m using it to store my gun ands it’s compact enough to carry in the car or pack with the luggage when I’m traveling. The combination lock is ok, better than having to carry a key that I lose or search for when I need to unlock the safe quickly.
The foam padding inside is light and flimsy but sturdy enough to hold the gun in place. I’m just scared the contents will shift if the case is shaken roughly.
We received an outstanding price on the EO Tech unit and the shipment was fast.
We have not been able to use it yet because it is a Xmas present for my son but the quality of the unit is very good and I expect the operation to be the same
We took this unit to the range and it is an outstanding piece of equipment we have added to our AR-15. It is much easier to site your target in and go to the next. Highly recommended
